Rum-my! get it?! rum…rummy…cards…a flask?! Oh man

I’m pretty positive that this could make my life a great deal easier.  And free up excess space in my purse that I need for, oh I don’t know, a book? extra lipgloss(es)? a watergun? a small puppy?

Anyway, my point is that this is cool and everyone i know should have one and we’ll play gin rummy and order diet cokes at the bar when we’re broke.

Deck of Cards Flask!!

Deck of Cards Flask!!

It’s a little ‘spensie at $45 from the MOMA Store but I think it might be totally worth it.

By the by, these images and prices and such are all from Totokaelo which is an awesome blog based from my fav store in Seattle, Impulse.
If you wanna buy their stuff you gotta sign up for a profile and they’ll *select* you if you’re cool enough. Well, I can’t really imagine they turn people away but whatevs, it makes ya feel elite. And, ahem, I live in a big(ish) city so I must be an elitist! Am I right people?!

um, gotta go!

p.s. Oh! They also sell Rachel Comey at Frances May in town (you know, portland).

ocean

I live fairly near to the ocean, but hadn’t been in 10 years. 10 years? That’s kind of insane.

We went this weekend for Jenny b-day celebration.

Anyway, it was amazing.

I prefer not to throw around words like “organic” unless I’m describing vegetables, but that dang ocean was moving. There’s nothing like it. It’s not tainted by anyone’s silly motives. It just moves and it’s wet and it’s beautiful. And you can get in it.

It’s just a nice way to recharge from all this city-livin.

Go there.

papery!

Mmm, I’m moving back into a house (no longer a studio) with a best bud roommate and I am very excited to decorate!

Also, I’m able to paint a wall or something if I so desire and I think…hmm…I don’t think I’ve ever had that option. Terrible life, yah?

Instead of painting though, I may go the way of wallpaper. Oooh…papery! I know it’ll probs cost a lot more, but it’s something I must consider!

Conveniently, there was just a blurby in the NY Times about wallpaper and about Tempaper. You know, cause everyone’s always boohooing about how crappy wallpaper is and how hard it is to get off and I’ve watched enough(!) home improvement shows in my day to believe that shit!

And Tempaper is cute! And…temporary! How temporary, I do not know, but I read something that compared it to a post-it note for your wall, but if I’m gonna spend $75/roll I don’t want it to die after 6 months. Ya heard?

Anyways, these are cute and available for sale online:

Fairly killer, yes? I know they’re pretty dang busy and super art deco-ish (apart from that toile-type one). But I think that’s okay with me.

The one I want actually isn’t available for sale online yet. But it looks a little something like this…

Dooooo you think it’s too vaginal? Es posible?

Or what about this one in action (complete with cuh-lassy black leather chair y’aaaaall)?

cocktail pep

do you like Pepperoni sticks?

Listen, I know in theory they’re super gross, but don’t you kiiinda like the taste?

Well I do, but I’m not gonna go buy one! duh! First of all, embarrassing. Girls do not buy pepperoni sticks. Ask my sister. We can’t! Someone will see you and be like “jesus, that girl eats pepperoni sticks? totally unattractive.” It’s true.

(Except for my friend Kate. She will totally buy a pepperoni stick. And probably one for you too. She also told me that I should eat pineapple cream cheese on Chili Cheese Fritos, though I’ve never done it. Kate is a badass.)

Secondly, that stuff cannot be good for you.

But this is all beside the point. My point is that I bought some Lilly’s Roasted Red Pepper Hummus the other day and it’s good. And it tastes like pepperoni sticks!

It’s pretty awesome. Find it here (sorry friends east of colorado…more for me).
